I've always loved Lifetime. Great equipment, trainers, atmosphere, staff, facilities, cafe - just excellent. The steam room in the locker room always feels amazing after a workout. Great during the summer with the pool. Absolutely indispensable if you have kids - kids facility is spacious, entertaining - top notch. Finally, love that they are following the mandate and requiring people to show vax cards. Thank you!

It’s a good gym and love the pool deck. Just read that it’s opening May 21. I can’t wait. Also read that it’s going to be $50 to bring a guest to the pool this year. That’s a $35 increase, as last summer it was only $15. Please re-consider this decision as a basic membership alone is almost $150 for an individual. What if instead, you only charged that amount of $50 on weekends, when it’s more busy? Just my thoughts.

Lacks good management. Very unsafe environment. Abusive to staff and members. They were very strict with the masks for awhile. I had to leave then came back. Then strict with the V card so I am out fit good. It’s Funny because the place is so dirty and gross that they clearly don’t care about protecting anyone from a virus. Staff loved policing people constantly yet didn’t care to actually clean the place. I stand for freedom and personal choice. I can’t support such an abusive unhealthy place. This is no HEALTH club.

I want to say thank you to Dana for providing outstanding customer service and giving me a thorough tour of the beautiful and very clean facility. She is so friendly and professional! She answered all of my questions and I felt very welcomed by her. I decided to join and also get myself a personal trainer. I was assessed by Jose- who is very professional and thorough as well. I voiced my goals and visions to Jose and he knew immediately who I would work perfectly with. Shane is extremely knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and takes great pride in his work. I respect and appreciate him! I am overall extremely happy with the staff and facility- everyone is very nice and helpful. Thank you Lifetime Burr Ridge.

I felt totally schemed by Life Time in Burr Ridge Illinois. We have four kids and have been looking for a place to swim this summer. We expressed interest in a tour and one of their reps reached out to schedule. Saturday of memorial day weekend, I reached out and said that I'd like to get the tour AND try everything out. I said that, specifically, my kids wanted to try the pool. The response wasn't "we'd have to charge your for that" or "we don't provide free one day trial passes" it was "I'd be happy to arrange your visit today!" and "we just need a 2 hour notice prior to the reservation time." After we agreed on a time, and my family made plans to come, I clarified that we'd get to use the pool. WRONG! 3 hours before we were scheduled to go, they told me that if my family wanted to actually try anything out, we’d have to buy a one-day membership. It is my strong belief that they were hoping I’d get all the way there with four kids ready to swim and THEN break the news that we’d have to pay. Really shameful. I told them that I was going to let everyone know about my terrible experience, but they didn’t care.

Great place ,meeting the nicest community of Pickleball players that introduce me to the best game. The club now is renovating the courts in response to great demand. Starting by my self and probably speaking for some no more reason to suspend the membership in the summer months thank you life time

Lifetime is steadily increasing prices and changing clubs to more exclusive/expensive levels. I've gone from $150 to $180 to $220 a month in just over a year and my access to gyms has dwindled. Just now, I drove 24 minutes to Burr Ridge with my daughter to be told that even though we are Onyx members, this club is Onyx Premiere and we'd have to pay $310 monthly. I would maybe consider it if we could have tried the facility for the day, but that wasn't an option. I wish a decent competitor would come along, Lifetime just seems interested in servicing the wealthy. Awful.

Quality is way way down and they need to do a better job cleaning and especially the pool . Used to be better but lately there's been a lack of customer service from some of the employees. Also no new equipment in a while and some equipment is broken and also the arc trainers don't work half the time. Wouldn't recommend this gym used to be a gem not so anymore..and the GM requires a vaccine mandate when the village mayor opposed it . 👎 some workers were even seen arguing with members towels everywhere too. Gym operations know as OPs don't clean this gym properly got warts cause of this place took several doctors appointments to go away . Stay far away .
