ETA was 20min... took over an hr! No requests were followed. The pasta missed almost all ingredients (no prosciutto, mushrooms, plus paid xtra to add chicken); and worse yet- it was inedible! The tortellini was overcooked & mushy, drowning in goopy Alfredo sauce. With this, I also requested soup & received a choppy old salad. The pizza was bad as well- not thin... doughy, and extremely salty (had only sausage, but it tasted like they threw salt across the top!) Plus, was not as requested (pie cut, well done, etc). Lastly, the sides were less than favorable. Although the arancini was nice & crispy, there was less than a teaspoon of filling, and both this & the side meatballs came in/with a watery, bland marinara sauce.
This is the 2nd time we tried the 'XPress" version of Capri, and both were fails. I can't even complain direct through DD, so let's see if I can speak to or hear from a manager. (Note- the 1st time [a few failed pasta/entree orders], the manager offered a *credit,* but never used it since COVID hit. Wonder if I'm still on that "credit list! " [??]) I'd like a refund at this point- can't trust to order again from "XPress!"

Stopped by for quick dinner after a flight cancellation. Staff was so friendly and accommodating (offered to go buy a bag of ice for our drinks), which was refreshing after our airport experience. The food came in large portions, was served to us quickly and it was hot. Ended up being a great choice for dinner.

After years of excellent orders Capri has lost it. We ordered dinner for 6 tonight (Sunday Aug 2, 2021), $232.11 which is no small expense. The lettuce in the salads was about 30% bad which was disgusting. The cod we ordered was so over cooked it was beyond rubber, it was just awful and had to be thrown away entirely. My eldest son is a culinary major and he thinks they used frozen cod, did not defrost it properly, and then (over)cooked it. The pork chops were also WAY over cooked, terribly, terribly dry. The artichokes were not breaded, there were about 6 artichoke quarters buried in a mountain of breading?!?! Totally gross. We won’t be ordering from here anymore which is a pity because it used to be a family favorite. I do not recommend this restaurant at all anymore. Find a different Italian restaurant!

The owner's nephew, Philip, made a point to reach out after his uncle read the above review. While the above review of yesterday's meal is what it is, it says something positive about them that they reached out personally. I hope what it says is that they care about the quality of their food still, and not just about bad reviews on Google. They have called me twice now to make sure I edit this review. I have changed it from 1 to 3 stars accordingly. The meal was still terrible.
Philip expressed to me today that he has checked with the kitchen staff on all of our meal issues and assured me that this was an isolated incident that will not be repeated. He communicated they would credit us for the fish we could not even eat because it was so bad, $25.95 They also offered a discount on our next order. I am honestly hesitant to order from here again due to the fact that it wasn't simply 1 dish that was inedible, all but one of the meals received had major issues plus sending 6 side salads, 2 of which contained lettuce that was literally rotten, is just a sign of poor restaurant quality control. My chef son has worked at 3 restaurants, and currently works at the 3rd, and attests to this. His restaurant has a quality control process to prevent simple things like making sure customers do not get rotten lettuce.
The 2 orders of Pork Chop Milanese which are normally excellent and my (grown) sons crave this dish, were so dry (overcooked) you had the excellent flavor of the sauce + arugula but the meat was like leather.
The Pasta Carbonara, which I would previously have described as one of the best we have ever eaten anywhere, was dry and not creamy - don't know what happened there.
The Gnocchi Quattro Formaggi that my elderly father loves was way too salty according to him and this from a man who I think puts WAY too much salt on his food as it is.
The Artichoke Toscana we had never ordered before so maybe it comes this way and it is my fault for choosing it vs. theirs. I expected "artichoke hearts baked with seasoned bread crumbs and parmesan cheese in a light red sauce". But it was a bowl filled with heavy breading with some artichokes buried inside and some red color on the edges of the dish indicating the light red sauce I believe. I've included pictures of the dish after we picked out the few artichokes. If you love seasoned breading then you may really like this dish.
In complete fairness the Veal: Vitello Vesuvio con Patate was excellent as were the desserts. We enjoyed the Tiramisu, cannoli and cheesecake. They were very fresh and delicious, especially the Tiramisu and cannoli.
This is an honest review of the meal we had yesterday. While I do truly appreciate them reaching out and genuinely thank them for crediting the fish dish, the meal was what it was. Perhaps the only way to have rectified it would have been to either send a completely fresh meal without the above issues to show that it was, in fact, a fluke, or reimburse us for the meal itself.
If we decide to order again & take them up on the discount offered I will update this review accordingly. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again if my family is up for it.

Tried this place before with a friend and I am addicted ever since. I liked the excellent ambience and fresh dishes and beverages. Great work.

This place is a want to be Capri by GiGi. The pasta was over cooked. The rigatoni was dry if that’s even possible. They forgot one of our veals. Olive Garden is a better option.

Do not ever order from this place and expect the quality from Capri restaurant . I ordered the steak salad (that I have already tried in the restaurant), the steak was old and chewy and not even similar to the one in the restaurant , there was no parmesan, no carrots, the tomatoes were floury and the whole salad was filled with the pepperoncini instead of other ingredients . It was not fresh and tasty at all. The other order was the seafood platter which was also tasteless and burned . At least the prices should not be the same since you order way less quality food than the restaurant .
