I ordered the cowboy chicken which was really good, my husband got the jalapeño burger which he said was good. Friendly staff, clean restaurant. Only issue is we had to wait a very long time to get our check.

Good joint for lunch with decent service, I believe. Our order was placed right away but didn't see our server after that. Food was tasty for sure. Plenty of options. They host poker tournaments in the back room as well which looks super fun. I'd be back for those!

The food is pretty good comfort food. A lot of menu choices. If you're going on a weekend when the train is in town, make reservations. Incredibly crowded but service wasn't really slow despite their being packed. Also a neat candy, food, soda shop inside the restaurant.

Our waitress Amelia was amazing! She filled our glasses before we asked. Went out of her way to appease our perticular 4 yr old. On top of the service the food was hot, delicious and just to our liking! I appreciate how she double checked how my husband likes his steak by being honest about how rare the medium rare steaks come out. Love this local gem!

I ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and fried okra. It was delicious. The tangy sauce that comes with the meatloaf was amazing.

Very impressive! Portions were large and full of flavor! Best gravy I’ve had in years! Food wasn’t overcooked making for an excellent meal. Will bring more family next time we’re in Texas!

Homey, comfort food centered spot on the Burnet square. Big place with plenty of seating and a cute little store for old fashioned drug store type products. Nice selection of beer and local wines.

My boyfriend and I ate here on our first road trip together and recently went back a year to the day later to celebrate our anniversary! The food is great and the staff is awesome! Love the little candy store with all the vintage style candy too!
