I had a bagel, egg, and bacon sandwich, it was the best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time! Beautiful decor and historical ceiling, I love the warm wood it's very calming. Great service and super friendly people!

Love it. A place that understands and serves quality food. The quiche is outstanding. The biscuits and gravy are done right...not glumpy and floury like everywhere else. The coffee is really really good! The panini are good. The toast and homemade jam are wonderful. The jam is fresh tasting without being overly sweet. You guys do a phenomenal job!!

I had the bagel with egg, tomato, cheese and pesto. It was absolutely delicious! My mother had the breakfast burrito that was equally yummy. The hazelnut coffee hit the pot on this dreary morning as well. We sat at the table in front by the window and enjoyed beauty of the space, dark hard wood floors, exposed brick wall and beautiful tin ceilings. I will definitely be back!

Stopped in here today. It has a really nice interior, well done. The quiche I had was pretty good too. I had an iced coffee that wasn't too great, otherwise everything was well done. Would go again if I were in town.

This quiet little place is amazing! We've not tried everything but all the food we have tried is made with fresh from scratch ingredients and cooked by a true English man. They also have original wood work that's beautiful.

I LOVE McConnell Cafe!! The decor is lovely and rustic. The staff is so sweet and accommodating. Panini's, soups, breakfast items, all made fresh to order. A hidden gem in Burlington for sure!

Met Tony who is from Nottingham and is fun to talk with, he served up a delicious piece of Kish and a real salad that was excellent. Can't wait to take my wife there next time.

My opinion about this restaurant was pretty interesting because the service was probably the best thing I get for my first time using to eating here and downtown Burlington Iowa.
