This was our first visit. We were driving by and decided to stop for lunch. There were not many people in the place and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive to our needs. We ordered some clam chowder for appetizers and split a platter of fried seafood (Combination Seafood Platter).
The clam chowder were on the table in only minutes and tasted great. The seafood dish was out in a timely manner as well. In our case, we added scallops for just $1 and got 3 or 4 scallops for that price. What a good deal! The meal was good, and there was so much the 2 of us couldn't even finish it.
I would totally recommend this place, and we will certainly go back. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the decor, which I'm not sure if I should call "dated" or "thrift shop". Regardless, we will be going back here again, that's for sure.
SUCH A TREAT. The jumbo shrimp and scallop platters are priced fair, the food is great. The best part was ordering. The young lady, Jilly maybe Dilly? was so polite. She helped find food we’d like and was so nice to talk to. It was a pleasure coming to pick up dinner and interact with the employees when I picked up. It’s nice to see people like Jilly take pride in their product. Also wanted to add the raw onions side is great to add and few places carry them as a side.
It's like no other place it's fresh seafood at your best due to the customers that are over whelming seafood lover Thur out the county me and my wife always put our before time so naturally when dinner times come we go pick it up and no wait time hardly but quick service and fresh got supper ready to go home and enjoy it's good they take orders ahead of time it works out for us just call them and gived your. And your time to pick and it's ready when you get there we,ll thankful for their great excellent output try it out
Great service, great food and good prices. Waitress's were attentive and ensured drinks were kept full. We had small children and they split plates.
I've been there about 5 times (I live in Durham)and each time I was there the food was excellent!! Prices are very reasonable.
Great food and wonderful waitress!! Our waitress Andrea is the main reason we continue to go back to Harbor Inn. She is a major asset to this restaurant. She always makes sure our order is correct and is very prompt with everything. Harbor Inn has great food but she makes the experience over the top.
Excellent food, best seafood in this area! Large portions, even small plates. Excellent customer service, all the waiters and staff are super courteous, friendly, and always provide the best customer service! Owners are friendly with customers and staff. Highly recommend Harbor inn!!!!
