I Prive

First time trying out this location since I've had such s huge craving for delicious sushi. I admit, I want expecting much since it's on Burlingame Avenue. For some reason, a good amount of food spots on that street tend to disappoint me so I try to find hole in the wall places with good reviews. So glad I decided to take some chance. The staff were quite friendly and patient. They followed CDC guidelines very well which is well appreciated. I was impressed with the imported selection of Japanese whiskies and will definitely try their flights on my next visit. The food was quite delicious. Ordered the surf and turf roll, the firefighter and the 007. All good choices along with their omakase which I may skip since the rolls tasted amazing! Dessert was pretty basic with the options of green tea ice cream and mochi which I will probably go some place else for dessert on the Avenue. Overall, 10/10. Kudos to management and the staff for creating a safe environment for indoor dining. Can't wait to visit again soon

UPDATED Aug 2020 Still in love with I Privè food and atmosphere. My favorite rolls are still 007, Kevin G and Scorpion but I recently discovered Sempre Fi roll which is amazing as well. Try “spoons” with uni and quial eggs, or uni nigiri or if you’re lucky they can have the freshiest Toro Fish on special (See picture). Coctails — my favorite is still Lychee Martini, but also Jè Taime is absolutely great! —————- This place is amazing. Go there Friday night, sit at the bar and let the owner (name's Stan) who is rock and rolling on Fridays offer you a Lychee Martini (total hit) along with his special menu (trust he knows better what you want).
