Dek Thai

Absolutely wonderful experience. Cute restaurant with warm comfortable decor. Staff was very friendly and when the owner? head chef? gentleman brought us our food he lingered to make sure we liked it. We loved it. Best Thai food I’ve had in a long time and it was the best Thai my partner had had since she was in Chicago 8+ years ago. The Thai iced tea was also amazing. Not too sweet so you could actually taste the tea. We’ll be back!!

The lady owner is extremely racist. Do not eat here unless you are african american and would like to be treated like garbage. The owner does not like african americans and does not like for them to use her restroom unless it is the mens restroom and will purposly and continuously lie about the womens restroom being broken and when confronted about it she would look down and ignore you as if you are not speaking to her.

I think this is gonna be my Favorite Thai restaurant, I went to two other Thai places, But I did not have a good experience at those two places as I did with this one, I ordered pad Thai , garlic crispy chicken and Thai tea which My parents like the Pad Thai And the garlic chicken it’s really good, especially the Thai tea was awesome, unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of the pad Thai

We ordered this through uber eats and man this was bad. Maybe it was just a bad night, based on the other reviews.... but to start, the order was “delayed” by well over an hour. I assumed they were just busy. But when the order arrived, it was bad. The pad Thai had *0* flavor, the noodles were all stuck together, and the whole thing just tasted like oil. The pad kee mao (aka drunken noodles) came with the wrong type of noodle (see attached photo) has 0 flavor, again, and the tofu was hard, dry, tasted like oil (and looked like croutons). Overall a terrible experience, took forever, and it was expensive.

Got the crab rangoons which were great, but the mango fried rice with pork was top notch. no shortage of pork or mangos. It was fresh and tasted great, and 1 order weighed like 10 pounds! The panang curry with pork was just as awesome. Theres no shortage of Thai restaurants around Seattle and I've eaten at a lot of them. This place is easily one of the best!
