O'charley's

We always have a good experience at O'Charley's. We got steak, shrimp and fish with Spinach Artichoke Dip. Everything was good quality and the service was fast and friendly. Our meal was relatively cheap because we got a free appetizer with the purchase of 2 entrees. The ambience was also very nice. My steak was also cooked very well which can be difficult at times because I get medium rare which can be hard to get right.

Not worth the time. The rolls and spread were delicious 5/5. Our appetizer (Fried Green Tomatoes) were okay 3/5. I ordered the New Orleans pasta and had to send it back to the kitchen. I was charged for this entree anyways. I ordered a hamburger instead and it was satisfactory. The fries are not very good. The service happened to be fair. Although our waitress was fired during our time at this restaurant and no one checked on our table for a long period of time. Disappointing, overall.

O'Charley's used to be one of my favorite restaurants, mostly because when my kids were little, they had a "kids eat free" policy. That and their loaded potato soup. Then we moved to a state that didn't have an O'Charley's. When we moved to Georgia, I was so excited to see one! Of course, I had to order the loaded potato soup! Sadly, while it still tasted great, the potatoes were raw. When I say raw, I mean crunchy. I did let the waiter know, and he brought me a better bowl. As always, the rolls we're absolutely delicious!! Our waiter even brought extra for us to take home. 😁 Unfortunately, our fries came out barely warm, and tasted like they'd been sitting out for a while. They did make us some fresh fries, and they were much better. We were really disappointed that we ordered an appetizer (that we haven't had in over 10 years, so were really looking forward to) but didn't receive it. Our waiter forgot to put it in, so it was never made. Overall, it was decent, but we would have preferred a different waiter. The one we had seemed more interested in talking to his friends at the table next to us, which is probably why he forgot so much! Next time hopefully we will get our appetizer!!

Fish and chips were good, Burger was good. Forgot my grand daughters food, we were nearly done eating by the time hers was came and it wasn't even cooked all the way. It was a grilled cheese and she wouldn't eat it. How hard is it to get a grilled cheese right. There were two kids meals on our bill. Granted kids eat free but we were still taxed on 2 meals. No one cared when we asked about it.

I came to visit my son and his family who lives in Auburn and they brought me to O'Charley's for dinner. Since I'm vegan it was hard for me to choose from the menu. Our waitress Tasha took the orders and when she got to me I told her I was vegan. She said she would check for me and went to the kitchen and this gentleman named Greg came out He said his son is vegan also so he understood my dilemma. He came out with this beautiful plate of tacos with onions, mushrooms, coleslaw (no mayo) pico de gallo and avocados. It was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. Their service was impeccable.
