We’ve been going to Blackbird Sweets for all our dessert needs and have enjoyed everything we have gotten there. They make beautifully decorated desserts that are as delicious as they are gorgeous. The flavors and creativity are unrivaled.
I worked with Andrea for my wedding! I was little out there in concept but she worked with me seamlessly! What I wanted was for five individual cakes all of different flavors and different icing styles to fill out my dessert bar! They went so above and beyond with this people are still talking about the cakes from my wedding and this was June of 2017! We met with her and went over the flavors and tasted everything, her prices were beyond reasonable and her and her staff went above and beyond! She even went so far as to test our cake that we were going to use for our cake cutting because it was something she hadn’t done before and when it didn’t turn out exactly like my vision, she worked with me to find an even better decision! If you want someone that cares about you and your day, use Blackbird Sweets for your wedding, birthday, or party!
These cupcakes are incredible! The flavors are creative without being weird. I definitely recommend all of them (especially the ones involving caramel)!
One of my friends is ordering wedding cupcakes from here (they were totally booked with wedding cake orders) and is super happy working with the owner. Obviously, Blackbird Sweets is doing something right! ;-)
So I just finished eating the most amazing, most decadent, perfectly flavored cinnamon roll from here.. Oh my goodness. The texture was perfect, soft and airy. The glaze was perfect, not too thick and not too sweet! And the fact that I was lucky enough to get them freshly baked, my goodness. I'm so thankful for the owner encouraging me to try one lol Best Saturday morning ever !!!
I happened to stop by this bakery after a day trip to Niagara Falls. The owner was very nice and helpful. The cupcakes very absolutely delicious! The triple chocolate was amazing!
Great sweets, great pasta/sauce, and great people. They always have some new and interesting variety of cupcake or brownie that's worth picking up and waiting for when it comes again!
We had their chocolate coffee cake at a craft show in Henrietta. So good we stopped on the way to Niagara Falls. Bought a cookie variety pack, brownie, and regular coffee cake. All delicious and fresh. Definitely worth the extra 20 minutes.
