Dingen's Bar & Grill

My wife and I have been 'Discovering America' on our motorbike over the last two years to the tune of 20K miles. We've had lunch and dinner in hundreds of 'bars and grills'. We went to Dingens 'Bar and Grill', supposedly the 'best in Buffalo'. They didn't have any Budweiser Beer...they were out. They had a local specialty.".Roast Beef on a Weck"...they were out of that too on a Thursday night. So I ordered their supposedly 'huge' 8 ounce burger with Swiss Cheese. They were 'out' of Swiss Cheese. I've had plenty of '8 ounce burgers' across the country...it's usually a struggle to finish an 8 ounce 'bar burger'. This one went down like a burger from Micky D's. My wife ordered the 'Taco Salad'...if you like lettuce with tortilla chips then this is definitely the salad for you.The few crumbles of meat had no Taco seasoning and were probably part of the 8 ounce burger I ordered scraped off the grill.

Had one of the best dinners I've had . I am a huge fan of homemade salad's I was impressed by the different selections available with our fish dinner. It really can't even compare it to any other restaurant we been to.. The best part is that I expected it to be really expensive but it wasn't [ 5 adults ] ate for under $70.00 and, Comparable to any upscale restaurant in town but with same food and more attentive service like parking for free. And of course like I mentioned, WE HIGHLY recommend this place (the dingens bar & grill) , the feel in the restaurant is extraordinary. It make me proud to have eaten at the the newest secret in Cheektowaga . On a side note the coffee was delicious. I hate it when restaurants serve terrible coffee. I like that the dinner ended the way it started, amazing. The desserts and the coffee we had lived up to the standard set by the food. Its great to see that Downtown style growing from the ruins of the old max's it's even better to have culinary treats like this in our own backyard. stop in and see for yourself.and I'll bet you will write the next review !

unless you like watered down drinks and crappy food stay out of this place.....trust me i drink jack and coke and my double still tasted like coke....i asked the bartender if they water down the drinks and she nodded secretly to me cause she didnt want the owner to find out.....if you are gonna run a business run it right stop shortcutting thats all i gotta say
