One of my all time favorite restaurant on campus. Might even be one of the best Korean restaurant in town. Tokatsu are all insanely good, soups, spicy pork, you name it, everything tastes authentic and bold.

Hands down the best place to eat at UB north campus...PERIOD. Food is hot and always fresh. It's quick but not "fast food" for sure. The Koreans who own the place are very nice people. Ive worked at UB for 20+ years and this is basically one of the three places I will eat on-campus (quick shout outs too for La Rosa and Rachels!). Dak Bulgogi is my absolute FAVORITE.

Food is so good that I ate here all throughout undergrad and grad school, and now I stop back in whenever I'm in town. Highly recommend!

Every time I’m in the area in this pandemic I go out of my way to check to see if these fine people are still making the best katsu, haemul udon or bibimbop in WNY. I miss their lovely smiling faces, their expertise and the food they make. When I went to UB, I spent probably 3/4 of my food budget there because they run a clean shop in such a busy campus and are always on point. If they survive these dreadful months until we can go closer to normalcy, you’ll find me here again every month

It's a little secluded, but has fast service and good food at low prices. I paid about $8.36, including tax, for chicken bibimbap that filled my empty stomach at lunchtime (I didn't eat breakfast and I'm a pretty fit dude who needs food). And although the card reader takes about 1- 1.5 minutes to process, its pleasant talking with your server.

I can honestly say that if you have time and transportation, it's worth going to alternative Korean place nearby. This place is great if you are in the area and don't have alot of time to go elsewhere. I had the kimchi fried rice and it wasn't bad but didn't have that much kimchi in it and zero vegetables. I also had the pork bulgogi (I'm not using the Korean name as the majority of the populace probably won't understand) was light on flavor and zero sauce. I can't stress that the flavor was lacking the slight sweetness that is barely present and the rich flavor in bulgogi. I also asked for spicy and it had no heat to it at all, which might have masked some of the lack in flavor. I also feel the prices are about the same if you had gone to another Korean restaurant. This place would probably be 4 stars if it was slightly cheaper to match the quality, in my opinion. As an fyi, I grew up eating bulgogi at home and frequently eating out at places across the United States. I'm not gauging the food on it's Korean recipe authenticity but more upon my personal preference.

As a Korean mom visiting UB, I stopped at the Commons for lunch with my college bound son. The restaurant is a fast food joint, no frills. But who cares when the food is super delicious! I had the spicy squid stir fry and rice and for less than $10. Value and yumminess; you can't beat that!

Great food and a good portion size too, I usually get two meals out of it. When I'm hungry ok campus it's where I go almost every time.
