Union Pub

Directly across from Sahlen Field, and walking distance (½ mile) from KeyBank Center, Union Pub is the perfect spot for before and after a local sports event. The staff are friendly, easy to talk to, and good at what they do. The food is fantastic, (Photo is Transit Logs) and the drinks are well priced, and keep flowing. The atmosphere is more intimate, in a historical building built in the 1800's.

We ordered 30 wings, extra crispy plus 2 orders of chicken fingers and fries. Total $72. The wings and fingers were barely cooked, the celery was old and brown, the blue cheese tasted like Mayo and the chicken fingers were soggy! We ended up throwing most of the food out minus some of the bbq chicken fingers that my daughter had to break apart and find the well done parts. Never experienced such disgusting wings in Buffalo in all of my life. Our food did not sit for 20 minutes as we were told they were closing soon when we picked up our food. How you knew I was traveling is a bit disturbing from a business owner. The only thing that is ridiculous is your food and your lack of professionalism & let’s not forget to mention you creeping on my personal page.

So I heard through news break that they serve great wings so I said cool me and my husband ordered 20 wings a piece when we picked up the order the chicken wings was cold and not want we ordered when adv that we had a problem with are food a Caucasian guy that was working behind the bar advise if we came on time to pick up are chicken wings they would have been saucy. To Advise Truth be told.... When we first ordered they asked for are phone numbers to call when ready. And all 40 wings were super dry and if your Young and African American your not going to feel comfortable there. PLEASE SAVE YOUR SELF A FAVOR EVERYTHING THATS GOING ON IN MAY 2022. ITS NOT WORTH SPENDING YOUR MONEY

This is a great bar!!! The food is delicious and the servers are friendly and fun. You will feel like you’re right at home the moment you step in the door. We came here before and after a Sabres game and had a blast! There is always a lively and upbeat crowd here to look forward to. They also have some great drink specials to go along with their yummy food offerings. Make sure to try some of there unique wing flavors and dipping sauce creations. Unbelievably good! We try to stop by whenever we are in town. I feel like it’s a place that has a lot of regulars, along with a steady flow of new comers. I know I’d be a regular if I still lived in Buffalo!

Had an awful experience with the Union Pub and wanted to make all aware. Had reservations for 14 people for the Thursday of the March Madness tournament in Buffalo. Made the reservations 2 weeks before and all was supposed to be all set. I called them at noon the day of to see if it would be okay to be 15-20 minutes late as the game schedule came out made us a little behind. If not we would have left the games a little early to honor our time. I was told by the person who answered the phone (who also happened to take my reservation 2 weeks ago and acknowledged it) that there was a problem and they could not honor the reservations. I asked what the issue was and was just told he could not get into it. I said this was totally unacceptable as I have 14 people expecting to meet there in several hours. Again nothing. He suggested I try the Pearl Street Grill. I asked him if he had a connection there to help us out and he said no. I said a lot of help that is going to do! He abruptly said I gotta go I am busy and hung up the phone. So 14 of us left high and dry including out of town friends from Toronto and Indianapolis. Great impression for everyone!! I will never step into this place again or recommend it to anyone. Wanted to let everyone know so they don’t ruin your evening also! Totally unacceptable the way we were treated.

So I Ordered a Reuben Sandwich. Was Very Disappointed! There was No Sauerkraut, No Cheese A Very Little Thousand Island Dressing! Basically just a Corn Beef Sandwich! That is Absolutely Not a Reuben! The Only thing Halfway Decent we're the Homemade French Fries. I Don't recommend this place at all!
