Grilled chicken salad with mandarin oranges, sliced almonds, crunchy noodles and a raspberry vinaigrette! My new favorite thing from them!!!
Service was great (didn't have to plead gor a coffee refill!), food was good with generous quantities for breakfast, which is served all day. Eggs were cooked just as i ordered and i read filled the potato pancakes were very good.
Casual, no frills restaurant with very reasonable prices. Plenty of parking but be cautious as the lot is a little rough
Jeff (owner) usually does all the cooking, and he does so from his heart. He is very personable, and his staff is very friendly! His lead waitress is Sue, and she is o obviously the backbone here. She does all the shopping and is very patient with the customers.
The food is excellent, and is usually served in a timely manner. Lunch time is very busy, but his breakfast menu is served all day long. He has great burgers and his cooking oil is cleaned regularly. This ensures fries that are light and crispy, rather than dark and burned. His home fries are popular and his French toast is the best! Stop in and check it out. If you are looking for a shiny new restaurant, then this place is not for you. It is old, but clean and his food is delicious! My wife and I frequent the Buffalo restaurants, and the Kitchen table is our favorite breakfast stop.
I've been here countless number of times. The staff was friendly as always and the food tasted like it was home made. At first impression, it is a mom & pop shop. The restaurant won't win awards for its decoration but we don't go to restaurants to enjoy the wall art. The staff is very friendly, the food comes out quickly and hot, and the prices are great. I've had their pancakes, waffles, and skillets. The pancakes are definitely my favorite menu items.
This last time we tried the BLT which was tasty but underwhelming. Definitely will stick to the breakfast foods in the future.
I definitely recommend stopping in to grab breakfast or lunch if you have the chance.
Don’t pass this place up! We were traveling back home south and put this place in the GPS. We almost turned around because it didn’t “look” like somewhere we wanted to stop. When we got in and really wasn’t sure because of how dated the building was... but the food was great and had AMAZING pancakes, French toast and waffles!! So many choices for toppings, great eggs and bacon, wonderful service and a clean establishment for how dated it is. Would recommend it some anyone looking for somewhere to stop that’s not a chain and have kids!
My experience at kitchen table was pleasant. Although the exterior is a bit rough, inside was cozy and the service was excellent. I wasn't blown away by the food, but I was also a bit hungover, so it's hard to say. It was easily the cheapest breakfast I'd had in Buffalo, which is saying something. Buffalo has a lot of choices for good and cheap breakfast, but The Kitchen Table makes a reasonable argument for sticking around.
Ate here with a coworker of mine, and they had a good selection (so many places are just two kinds of pancakes, waffles, etc.) as well as a great attitude. Whether it's for the food or the pleasant locally-owned atmosphere, I don't see how you could go wrong.
