First timer I can’t complain the food was good very tasty. This meal fed me for today. I will come again my next time I’m in town for sure.
My wife and I found a fabulous place near Knots Berry Farm today for a healthy meal. Food and service at Golden Bowl was top quality.
Better quality food and service than Waba Grill.

I'm not sure why the reviews are negative. Whenever I visit this place, the chicken is always fresh, and the staff are consistently friendly. Among all the teriyaki options, this is my top choice.
Went here while I was in town with a friend and I have craved the beef and chicken teriyaki plate for the last 3 months I live in San Diego but it's so worth the drive the food is that good. Anyway we can get Golden Bowl in San Diego ? The price is worth it for the amount of food you get. Me and my friend shared a plate and still have food left over. But for reals we need you in San Diego
The quality is on par with Waba Grill, if not better. It's a tiny hole in the wall type place, great to go grab a bite for dinner or lunch. But make sure you're not in a hurry when you go, because they actually cook your food when you order it. So you will be waiting for it for a little while.
Got a veggie bowl with pork. The veggies were half cooked which is how I like them with a bit of crunch. The veggies included cabbage carrots broccoli and mushrooms. All were delicious and high quality produce. The pork was also very delicious without being overly salty. This is the first time I've gone in 8 years, I used to order the shrimp. I would recommend it if the quality has not changed in those eight years.
Overall, a top-notch place squeeze between a bunch of mediocre restaurants. Will definitely visit it again.
Good size and generous amount of protein. Flavor of teriyaki chicken was great. Everything fresh and service is quick.
