La Placita Cafe

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much upon walking through the door due to the lack of folks. However, it was probably due to being the day before Thanksgiving. I was kindly seated in the bar area, which looked fairly new and clean. It resembled a Mexican beer hall, which was super cool! I ordered the two green enchiladas from their lunch menu and was very impressed. Great Mexican food at a reasonable price. Their salsa could use a little more kick, but I'm not upset, since it was savored with red chiles. I even ordered a budweiser with my lunch, which paired perfectly with my meal. My only hangup was the lack of a drink menu- I would've ordered more if I had one. Plenty of parking g and seating for all your friends and family. #SupportLocal

This place has fantastic food, and we certainly keep going back to try something different. However, I hate that I have to ask for a regular cup for my drink (if I wanted a Styrofoam cup, I would go to a fast food place), and the service can be a bit slow sometimes. Luckily, the delicious food makes up for the other things.

They honesty need to make another Mexican restaurant out here in Buckeye this is about the only one out here and service and food is not worth the cost. Several times I ate there and waited almost 45 minutes to be waited just for drinks and salsa is I don’t know what it’s made of but it taste awful. Will never come back her to dine. The 4.3 star rating is based on “the only Mexican Restaurant” out here in Buckeye, otherwise they would get a 1 star. Your better off going to Filiberto’s, don’t waste your money. It’s over rated for the service and food served here..

They charge higher prices than on menus. Changed prices but servers fail to inform the customers of that fact and present a higher bill in the end. "Prices can change without notice" was their excuse. Food used to be pretty good, but since the restaurant was recently sold, the food has changed, not for the better.

Sad to see a place that use to be really good, now serve bland food. I’ve been coming to La Placita for the last 14 years. Unfortunately this is the first time I’ve been disappointed with the taste of the food. The service was fine. However I will not be recommending this place to anyone anymore. From the looks of other reviews they are under new management. Maybe they made a few too many changes that have effected the food in a negative way. Do not recommend.
