Native Grill & Wings

This place is the WORST Native I've ever been to. It took a good 40 mins to get our dinner. When the pork sliders arrived, supposed to be doused with honey BBQ sauce, they were extra dry and naked of sauce. The server said he'd bring some BBQ sauce but the manager "Tina" came out instead with a little cup of sauce. We asked her what was wrong with the kitchen tonight and she said nothing was wrong. We told her we had waited for a long time and now the food was lousy after the long wait. Tina conveniently pulled out a ticket and said we only waited for 22 mins and what did we expect on a busy Friday night? The restaurant was half empty! So we said bring out more BBQ sauce because the sliders were bone dry. (See photo) You think she'd at least agree and say, you're right, they ARE dry. But no, no resolution. Then the server came back with more sauce. "Tina" seated a couple in the booth next to us all friendly phony and I turned my head and told them "it's an hour wait to eat". She got pissed and told me not to bother her customers and if didn't submit she'd ask me to leave. Then the server came back and I told him I didn't like his boss's attitude. She was hovering and eavesdropping and then I said, yes you heard me I don't like your attitude. I asked if she was the boss and what was her manager's name. She said there was no boss above her and we couldn't complain except have at it on social media! She's a real piece of work! We also complained about the screaming, high pitched shrill crys of the kid across the floor and she said she couldn't do anything about that. My buddy said he couldn't do anything about me either when I told the customers next booth that the service sucked. The end of the story: no resolution or acknowledgement from "Tina" that maybe, just maybe, there was a problem with her food or her kitchen. Instead, just a haughty, condescending attitude. We did give Devon our server a $10 tip, way more than the 20% we usually do because he was a pawn to a poor kitchen and stupid manager. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

We chose this restaurant because they allow dogs. First I had to find someone to help me when we arrived. I found the bartender and confirmed that they allow dogs. No problem she was nice and said to just pick a table in the patio area. She ended up being the waitress as well. From what I could tell there were only two individuals working. My issues were the cleanliness of the patio. It had not been cleaned for quite a while. The restaurant is huge and not many customers. I thought the menu to be too large, too many options and quite confusing. Not that excited about the food. The waitress was great.

We visited this restaurant in July 2018 and again tonight January 3rd 2019., Both times it took forever for food to be brought out after ordering. We probably waited 30 minutes for two salads and two burgers to be brought to our table. Our server was Kasey, he did an outstanding job check in with us frequently to see if we had everything we needed. The food was very good also. If they can just get it from the kitchen to your table in a reasonable amount of time. The burgers were all so cold and they got to the table.

Update to negative review: Today, I received a call & email from the general manager, Mike, of this Native location. He was genuinely concerned about our experience, and asked me to call him to give him some more information so he could speak with the appropriate staff members & coach them to avoid others having a similar experience. Long and short of it is that I felt he was sincere in his concern, and I appreciated the time he took out of his day to discuss the problems I felt happened during our visit. Because of this, I'm updating my review to 4 stars, and will likely take him up on his offer to return to this location. I'm hoping that he will be in at the time we come in, as the follow up alone was impressive to me, and I hope to personally thank him for taking an interest in his customer's feedback. Worst restaurant service experience I've had in 2019. Sara(h), our server, came around relatively quickly to take our drinks and appetizer order. She also brought out the appetizer pretty quickly. When she did, she mentioned that she thought the hostess brought our drinks out, apologized, and brought 3 of the 4 drink orders, then finally brought the final drink. Sat for another 15 minutes or so, she finally came back after the appetizer and all drinks were gone and asked if we'd like to place our entree orders. By that time, I had already asked another, more attentive server, to bring our check. When I told her that we were done due to the poor service, she walked away abruptly, without saying a word. She brought the check, and didn't say a word again. I've been to two Native locations, once to each. Both times was a very poor experience. Not making that mistake a third time.
