Super long waits on service. Onion jam on the sweet potato pizza was too vinegary and the vinegar (a rose balsamic or white wine balsamic ) was all that you could taste. The sweet potato slices were thin, raw, and tasteless. The dried kale had no flavor and added nothing to the pizza. Only the pizza dough was tasty, light and just cooked. The three fish tacos were good according to my husband but why serve unflavored standard frozen bag french fried potatoes with tacos? Half the plate was covered in french fries. In the end after waiting 14 minutes for the bill payment to be picked up when only 4 tables were being used, we went to the bar to pay and left. Acoustics are loud and the bar sounds are throughout the dining room. Not going back.

Went for lunch around 2PM. Only a few people dining, mostly empty. Food was good, good prices, pleasant waitress. Solid beers on draft, not a huge beer selection though. Nice cozy atmosphere, big fireplace and Maine themed photo prints on the wall, nice bar. Recommended.

Pretty good food. Had fish tacos, which were solid, and some of the better sweet potato fries I've had; crisp and not too greasy. Beer offerings a bit lean, but they had Maine Beer Company Lunch, which was nice. Parking was in short supply, and I had to park quite far away.

Attended a work party at the Daniel. The food was good, especially the appetizers. The bar service was very good, if they didn't have what you asked for at the cart in the function room they will got it from the bar and brought it to your table. The only reason I rated 4 starts instead of 5 is the food for the buffet was slow in coming out. There was an awkward 10 minutes or so where our appetizer plates were taken away but the main course wasn't served. Overall very good though, football but comfortable atmosphere.

A hidden gem of a hotel in Brunswick. We really enjoyed both the restaurant and the hotel. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Rooms are nicely decorated and up to date. Feels cozy.

We attended our granddaughter's wedding here and I must say The Daniel is a very nice spot for a wedding and reception. The amenities were very good, the area for the wedding perfect, and the reception hall excellent. My granddaughter and her husband were so happy, as were their guests. I highly recommend this business.

The place itself is beautiful, they have a great bar. The food we had today was so so at best. I had the tacos and they were very dry my wife had the chicken and it was so salty she could barely eat it. This might just be an off-day for them we will go back and try it again

Super friendly staff! Had wonderful complimentary bikes to rent out with a close by bike trail. Also private hot tub you can use! Great hotel. Nice complimentary breakfast as well.
