Jason's Deli

I like this place and come in usually on weekends but man so many people come in and make me so uncomfortable. I'm sitting down on a 2-person table and yall people still come in when there's a clearly full restaurant and make me feel to hurry up and leave just because you want a spot for your group. Get here first then, if there's too many people don't expect a spot to sit, too bad you dummy already paid, maybe read the room next time! Regardless of the people, food is awesome, atmosphere is alright when it's packed and service is pretty solid!

Overall, my experience at this establishment was fulfilling and wonderful. As I walked in, I was greeted with hardy smiles from the two cashiers working. The placement of my order was smooth and professional. It was evident that all the workers were keeping busy and making sure that the service ran as smoothly as it could. After this, I helped myself to some ice cream—that of which I did not know was free, thus taking me by surprise in the best of ways. At that point, I sat down with my friend and took in the ambiance of the place: a dimly lit safe-haven that reveled in all the finest touches that took root from the nostalgia of a 2000’s eating establishment. It was millennial at its heart. Around five minutes later, I received my food. The employee that brought it to me placed it down with the greatest care on the freshly cleaned table. It was at that point that I knew how wonderful Jason’s Deli could be—how loving its soft, aged tenderness could be to a person that is yet to experience all the hardships and beauty of a world so scary, yet so freeing. The food—a chicken alfredo drowned in sauce and an average piece of garlic bread—was okay, but it was more about the secluded world around me that really sold the experience. I ended the night two hours later after a riveting conversation with two friends of mine. It was, truly, a night to remember, all thanks to the wonderful eatery that is this fine establishment known as Jason’s Deli. I will be coming again.

We ordered the manager’s special- a delicious Yankee corned beef sandwich with a soup or salad. However, we noticed a mistake in our bill. We did not order a $2.89 soda drink and they charged us extra for the salad plate which we thought was included with the meal. The restaurant was very busy and it probably was an honest error. Next time we will question the extra charges.
