My second time eating here and they still serve excellent food. The wait staff is very polite and prompt. They serve free soup while you wait and free dessert. Love this place. The only con was the music. The singer was too loud but otherwise was ok.

I love the fideo and dessert. I am not too happy with the food. The nopales need more flavor . I don't really recommend any plate. And the prices are very expensive.

This restaurant is probably the only one who serves complementary chips and salsa, soup, and dessert, which are always delicious. I love the machitos, and there hand made corn tortillas are great. You can't go wrong with the tampiqueña plate very well served. It's served with a fajita strip, a cheese quesadilla, a delicious cheese enchilada, charro beans, salad and fried potatoes rounds with your choice of tortillas. Great food.

May not look appealing from the outside, but once inside, it smells clean, looks clean, and has a old time rustic Mexican theme that creates a great atmosphere. The 2.99 taco i got was the size of a sincroizada. The menudo packed seasoning, but some added salt, pepper, onion, and limon really boosted it to a, delicious level. The tortillas de maiz were casera style and excellent. Definitely a must place to visit. I wish i lived in Brownsville to frequent it more.

Such a cute place to eat dinner at! The food was very reasonable pricing. We got the Emilia’s special which came with soup, main dish for 2 people, and dessert. Best decision we made there

Extremely good tasting Mexican food. Was down in the valley and had to stop here for dinner. Very good food. Very good chalupa’s. Definitely go by this place before 8pm . They close on the dot lol.
