All the Cunningham restaurants are really great this one is family friendly. My only feedback is that they don’t have an allergy menu. The chef seems to always be able to answer my questions. Most of the sauces have gluten and dairy in it but they could make me a dig rub rib. I’m sure it would have tasted better with the sauce. The price is reasonable especially for the kids meals that come with drink and dessert! Eating outside is fun with kids if the weather is good.
What a wonderful dinner we had tonight! Wife’s birthday today. We arrived at 6ish. The hostess told us it would be 45-55 minutes. So we settled into a waiting bench. I went to the bar and got an old fashioned for me and a Corona for the Mrs. The old fashioned was excellent. We were only about 15 minutes into our cocktails and they were seating us! What a nice surprise! Our waitress let us know that the special of the evening was Pistachio crusted Chilean Sea Bass on Brussels sprouts in a creamy Beurre Blanc sauce. The special also came with a salad. (The salad dressing deserves a shout out too. Raspberry poppy seed on hers and blackberry balsamic vinaigrette on mine! Wow! Both exceptional.) We both ordered the Sea Bass special. It was amazing. We finished up with the chocolate terrine. The dessert took a bit to get to the table. But it was also very good. The restaurant was very busy. But our waitress, Sam was still on point the whole evening. She was attentive and helpful. Thank you Boulder Creek for a memorable evening.
Delicious ribeye, easily one of the best in the Indianapolis area. Sides were tasty. The mash potatoes oddly completely lacked any heat though. Service was great and the pre-meal bread and oil dip was phenomenal.
Michaela kicked butt great service delightful, food was very delicious and the bathrooms are spotless A+A+A+ love the place
Great food fantastic service by the bartender, we sat at the bar. Hostess seemed hesitant to take our name when there were probably 15 open tables in and outside. reservations are recommended
Boulder Creek was a great experience. Taking off a star because the risotto and au gratin were a bit bland. Not bad by any means, but in need of black pepper and some cayenne. The waffles fries -- wow, wow, wow. Truly the best part of the meal. The jalapeño cheese sauce was so good!
The bbq ribs are so tender and come right off the bone. The sauce is sweet, tangy, and rich. The beer battered shrimp were salty, crunchy, and cooked well. The risotto wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The au gratin was well made and cut easily, but also in need of some seasoning.
The Boulder Mule was really good - Crown Apple and ginger beer are a match made in heaven. Service was great, from front to back. Our server was friendly, had good banter, and was great at timing and with the refills. Can't remember his name but wears the American flag neck gurter.
