Good ol home cook remind you of your grandma cooking. I had the chicken stew, sweet peas meal and my son had the red beans and rice with smothered rabbit. All around delicious. Then we ordered 4lbs of frozen boudain to go.

OMG the food is amazing and the price for the lunch (that I couldn't eat it all had to get a go box) was way less than most places I have been to, but you can't beat their service at any price!!!!!

What’s cooked for the day are your only choices.
Those choices are great and plenty to fill up a healthy appetite.
One of the choices today was chicken and sausage gumbo and it was spot on.
If you get close to the place during lunch, ya gotta go.

We stopped in at the recommendation of our friend in Broussard, and we are sure glad we did! Home-cooked comfort food, lovingly made by the couple/team who have been serving it for 50 years!! So good! And today we are enjoying some of the best boudin we brought home with us. You must try this specialty!!

A good lunch spot. Food is very good. Had the shrimp stew with fried catfish.. excellent. 15.00 dollars is a bit much, but overall the is a very good place to eat.
