If your looking for inexpensive Spanish food. This is the place to go. Right now its only take out no eat in and cash only. I bought pork shoulder(Pernil)it was deliciously flavored and the skin was crunchy just the way I like it. I also bought alcapurrias this is the only place that makes them right. I've had them in other places like Spanish harlem,S.I.,Bronx and they were either to mushy no flavor and the coloring was off.. This why I stick to la Isla for some good Alcapurrias!

This place is fantastic the food is great and the atmosphere is very home like. People talking, music playing and the food is even better. I take my family here to eat. It's very authentic in taste. I gave it a 4 because the bathroom could use a pick me up. A good cleaning and I would have given la Isla a 5star. Still a great place.
