Bearded lady is probably the best cocktail bar in the area, maybe in Brooklyn. During non-pandemic times, it has an intimate vibe that almost seems perfectly crafted for a date night. Even with the pandemic, it has maintained a solid list of craft cocktails and good beers on tap that makes it a must see.

Booked for a large group post NYC marathon and they reserved a space for us. Great food, drinks and staff was super friendly! They even made this sign which was sweet. I edited to add some other names. They did a better job. 🥰

Not my favorite place because their service is fairly slow, although cocktails are yummy. Their oysters had more sand than I’m comfortable with.

I want to like this place more than I do—the cocktails are good...if you can get a bartender's attention (or don't mind waiting, like, 10 minutes for it to actually get made, since they're always slammed). Getting the bill at the end of the night is even harder. There are other cocktail spots in the neighborhood that just do it better.
