The only thing better than sugar, is sugar and butter..and the only thing that beats that is sugar and butter between the right amount of cake, which is itself butter, sugar and flour. The variety here is a mind-blowing as the height of the cakes. They look the goods. But the strawberry shortcake is missing too much of the requisite fruit, and cake. It's so heavy on the icing, that I've just recovered from the induced coma. My friend reports the same for the cheese frosting, barely interrupted by the (not impudent enough to save the) carrot cake. This will suit some palates. But balance is everything, and not just for 15yo Russian doped gymnasts.

My favorite bake shop in the Brooklyn area! I love all their treats! From the s’more bars to their cupcakes! Vanilla is my favorite cake flavor, so I love to keep it simple and get a cupcake each visit. I recommend trying a variety of their tasty treats. You can’t go wrong! My mother absolutely loved her birthday cake from here too! It was her first time having it. Thank you so much!

I visited this bakery for the first time today after visiting the Brooklyn botanical gardens and I must say the plain cheesecake is extraordinary! Best creamy but light tasting and not overly sweet cheesecake I’ve ever had! At first I thought it was way overpriced but I will gladly pay $9 for a slice of delicious delectable cheesecake. I will try to restrain myself from eating the entire mini cake in one sitting! Great job! I’ll be back again to try your flavored cheesecakes next time too!

a little too sweet for me but basically every store-bought cupcake is. however they do have a good ratio of frosting to cupcake which is extremely rare!!! if you don’t love frosting or just prefer a normal ratio where the frosting is a TOPPING on the cupcake and not bigger than the actual cupcake itself, go here! their other baked goods like cheesecake and pudding looked really good as well, i would say if you’re looking for something similar to magnolia bakery but in brooklyn go here!
