The 2nd Street Salmon is their take on the lox benedict with hashbrown waffles. To die for! Super yummy combo with their hollandaise sauce. Mocha is perfect. Made with Belgian Chocolate and not too sweet. The best part though, is Ryan, the friendly guy that greats and helps you with your order. All smiles and great energy despite the gloomy weather. Give him a raise! I'll come back for sure. Warning: it's not a fast food joint so there is a bit of a wait. Food is worth it. ;)

After crossing town in an Uber just to try this place ... I could only say that people there seem to fairly enjoy their waffles .. smelled really nice and the lemonade only thing I tasted was sweet but nice ... unfortunately after more than 35 min waiting and a very rude reminder of the closing time our waffles never arrive ... they have a peculiar way to make the orders and I guess abe a friend of the lady in the counter was the requisite to get food serve in this place!!! ... so with not much of an apology the lady decide to refund only the price of the wafles ... so taxi back home as im not able to walk and don’t live around !!! What a way to experience the famous best waffles on NYC.

Their waffles are good, not like the original ones that has the crunchyness, but they are good. The topping are a bit much in proportion of the ratio, sometime less is more. The concept is great, but the staff's need better tranning especially in csr skills.

I researched the night before that it was supposed to open at 9 am. Planned the day in the city from eastern queens and went there with my 2 little girls around 9:20am. Tried to open the door but it was locked. There was a guy in the store but he told me it was closed and then he disappeared down some stairs. Why bother advertise on fb and website that you are open at 9am and not open for business to customers?? What kind of business does that??? Truly disappointing. Won't even bother in the future.

I was there today with my husband and baby. We are from Miami, FL. And ever since I saw this place advertise on fb, I have been dying to come. I have to say that Wafels and Dinges are beyond amazing. Everything about this place is 5 stars. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile. The girl who took my order made me feel at home. Her customer service skills were amazing. The waffle was warm and delicious. And their hot cocoa devine. I will surely, be visiting this place all the time whenever I come to visit my family in NY.

Spent $10 on the strawberry, banana and whipped cream waffle but was packed terribly so when I walked to a cafe 5 mins later to eat it, the cream had dripped everywhere and the toppings have become a creamy mess. Was not edible so threw everything away. Wrote them a message with picture attached but did not receive a response. Overall very disappointing experience...

I absolutely love this company and their waffle creations. The service at the Times Square stand yesterday around 7:30pm was terrible though, specifically the cashier. I've had service at a stand they had at Central Park and Bryant Park and was treated much better. The company should do something about the service at Times Square.

My husband and I went to NYC for our honeymoon. I got a waffle from here and it was the most amazing waffle I have ever had. It has been three months since we came home and I am still craving these!! It is a MUST to try these!!

Went to the East Village one, waited forever to be seated (or even greeted or somehow acknowledged) despite there being no line and several free tables. I asked one of the staff behind the counter twice if anyone was coming to seat me and finally I just left. Some people who had arrived after me also left before I did. Pointless loss of business.
