Placed an order online, an hour and a half before the restaurant closed. They cancelled the order because they determined my apartment was “too far,” at the whopping marathon distance of 1.1 miles. If that epic journey is too great for a delivery person on an e-bike, speeding haphazardly on sidewalks and zooming the wrong way on one way streets, then they should modify the radius in the app, rather than allowing a person to get excited about an order and then pulling a fast one, cancelling out of sheer laziness.
I used to sing Mario’s praises. I loved that they were unpretentious and kept their food priced reasonably, as other neighborhood establishments jacked up the pizza cost to ungodly amounts (I’m looking at you, $3.50 for a PLAIN slice Not Ray’s). Now that has changed. Mario’s has been slipping, and it’s sad that we’ve gotten here. The dudes in the shop are becoming grumpier by the day, and make you feel like a nuisance for having the audacity to ask them to sell you food.
I’m angry. I know I shouldn’t be, but it feels like I was punched by someone I thought would protect me. And while this is an easy thing to say in an online review, and there’s no way of proving it, I was honestly prepared to tip $20 on a $25 order. I didn’t have change and thought “Eh, these guys deserve it. They work hard.” And by “hard,” I now mean “as little as possible.”
Tonight you lost a six year customer. My allegiance has shifted to Luigi’s, just down the street. That’s right. Luigi over Mario. Who would’ve thought?

I understand immigrants don't always speak English, but the dude in here spoke none and wasn't bright enough to communicate with hand signs.

Don’t order here. No one answers phone. Horrible and terrible. Didn’t even cancel order. Had to reach out to seamless. This place is horrible.

Excellent pizza - freshly made, super flavourful.

While the place doesn’t look too appetizing the pepperoni slices for takeout were reasonably priced and very good. I prefer a thin crust but this style of more chewy cheesy pizza was very good. I’d go back when I need a quick slice to take out.

Wow! The pizza here absolutely exceeded my expectations. The endless fresh toppings available made it that much more enjoyable. Prices were somewhat reasonable but worth the expense. For example, the fresh garlic topping was 3.00. We know we coukd go to the grocer and purchase a plethora of garlic cloves for that price but once again worth it.
They arrived in a timely manner and i will be purchasing again (when i can just drop $40 on a large pie).

The prices were great!! I ordered a hero, a calzone and a beef patty w cheese!!.... when I felt the box.... it was very heavy!! ((I always check the weight of the box, per price I pay, great indicator)).... I’ve paid 40$ for boxes this weight!!.... the calzone and the hero were huge and full for the price, and the beef patty was great!! I wish this place was on Long Island...

The food is as expected… $3 for a slice of tomato cheese on a plate
