Loved this new space. Great for family and kids to enjoy a meal and drink. Some games to play and lots of places to sit.
The Japanese food hall was a bit limited in choice but you won't have issues finding something to eat. It's decently priced. Takoyaki was good.
Great selection of shops, food and goods. The outdoor seating is super cute cozy and even has heating lamps. I had just a short visit but I Can't wait to go back.
Love the food. Love the look..and there's a bookstore/toy shop that carries anime stuffs. Remind me of my childhood. I guess my only comment is they only carry the newer ones...i couldn't find the manga i got hooked up with years ago... but over all i love the place and wants to visit again.
Best place in Industry City by far. My boyfriend and I visit here on the regular. Always good food and amazing people. Wonderful costumers service and very amazing traditional food. I recommend visiting the Japan Mart snacks are top tier. The Ramen bowls and their Onigiri 🍙 are delicious 🤤. I love this place and they just opened a Book Off too.
We went a little out of the way just to visit Japan Village because I had to get some Japanese foods and snacks. This place did not disappoint. I didn't have the time to look at everything outside of the grocery/market section, but I did see a few places to get hot food across from the grocery section. We also went and saw the courtyard area which is beautifully decorated.
If you are a fan of Japanese flavors or foods, check this place out! I hope to return there soon to check out what else that are has to offer, as it seems to have many multinational food spots, among other things.
One of my favorite places! I love coming to shop at sunrise mart and staying for a bowl of udon. Their ramen is excellent as well! It’s a great space with some great food options. Their wifi is also pretty good. I’ve brought my laptop and worked out in their courtyard. It’s awesome on a a nice day!
This place is really cool, lots of great food options. The courtyard area is nice, there’s some seating. They had heat lamps out and a fire pit. Definitely, recommend checking it out.
Industry city itself is so wonderful with all the bakeries and food options and market.
But Japan Village itself.. maybe its me being old but I want to believe Its trying its best to bring the revive old St. Mark's/8th street vibe to Brooklyn. Izikaya's a great start and hopefully few more Ramen or Street fair style foods will fill up other storefronts.
What a wonderful story behind Sunrisemart. I really hope villiage yokocho ends up in Japan village.
