Dishonest!
Be careful what they charge you. The cashier will say it’s $8, but charge you $8.50 or $8.70 plus tax. Very sneaky and dishonest with ripping customers off.
I confronted the cashier about always doing this. His response was: I don’t know it’s just the system.
But 2 seconds before that I saw him put in the price he charged my credit card with.

ALWAYS a positive experience here. The guys who work here are upbeat and friendly. They make great food, especially sandwiches (good attention to detail here). And their selection of goods is reliably gourmet. Plus, the brave little bodega cat occasionally makes an appearance to supervise the floor. You won't go wrong here.
