You know you’re Asian when Christmas means hotpot! Hotpot is all about the broth and they have really good broth here. I got half bone soup half spicy. Servers, dressed like one piece, are attentive and bring the food out fast.

I came on Christmas Day! I called ahead and made a reservation between 8:30-9pm and waited about 10min once I got there. AYCE hotpot (meat and veg to choose from) came out to about $25/pp. Great service and quality. I highly recommend!

ame here with a friend who specifically insisted that the Sunset Park area of Brooklyn had superior hot pot to Manhattan. After our experience here, it's kind of hard to disagree! Sorry Manhattan, we still love you tho. We got two different broths - bone cylinder and a spicy one. I enjoyed both but was really blown away by the spicy one. It was so flavorful and had just the right amount of heat on a 40 degree day. There was a good variety of meat, veggies, and starches and I pretty much enjoyed all of it. I also appreciated the little side station with a bunch of sauces and sides like garlic and scallion. I think the best part is how relatively cheap it ended up being per person for how much we ate. Service was very good and usually pretty quick. I appreciated how attentive they were to getting dishes out of the way and managing the pot. Also, I went with people who really knew their way around the menu and could order for me, but I do I think you can get by with only English if you had to. Overall, I felt as though this place was more authentic and had better overall food than the places I've been to in Manhattan. Will definitely come here again on a cold day!

It was really good and great service! All you can eat lunch hotpot was about $25/person, but the quality of the meat and veggies were great. (Tried beef and lamb, didn't try seafood; fish balls were good) They also give you dessert which was also really good( second picture). Will definitely visit again. I recommend getting the spicy & herbal soup broth. Don't forget to make your own sauce :)

So after going to a “popular” hot pot in manhattan that disappointed me. I decided to try a more local/ authentic one. It took me over an hour to get there from the Bronx but it was 100% worth it. It was located in a predominant East Asian neighborhood which was great cause I knew that meant more authenticity. The staff were super nice and made me feel welcomed. The waitress was patient and helped us pick out our foods and gave us some suggestions. She constantly checked on us and didn’t hesitate to ask us if we needed more items. All the foods we ordered came in and everything was super yummy. Despite it being pretty packed in there, they catered to everyone. I loved the vibe and the music(really diverse). Despite it being far I plan on going there more and more. It was a lovely experience. The only minor issue was it was hard to adjust the heat setting due to a malfunction with the table we were seated at but that didn’t take away from the experiences I highly recommend this spot!

One of the best restaurant service ever! They were soooo attentive on every little thing. We loved the service so much. We chose the hotpot which is all you can eat. There is so many amazing ingredients to choose, from meats to seafood to veggies to noodles! Everything was super fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was so nice and cool! So happy to have found this place and definitely come back her again and again!!

Way bigger than I thought it would be. You walk in and there's a funky wall with pictures to spell "hotpot" of their customers. But the big tables are really downstairs. Went with a group of 9 and the spread was crazy-good. The start wasn't the best but the staff was quick to clean up and make it right. Don't need to go into the details because it seemed like a 1-off da the rest of the night went smooth. The group chose the hotpot and BBQ option but maybe just the hotpot option would suffice for a party of 2. Would come back to try different things because I felt like I was "limited" to what was ordered by the group the first round and didn't really get to order what I wanted. Staff was friendly and especially nice after the rough start. Price is reasonable for AYCE and the variety.

Lao Jie is my favorite hotpot spot. The atmosphere is energetic and the smell intoxicating. The food is by far the freshest of all the hot pot places I've been. Bring friends and have a yogurt soju or two while you stuff yourself.
