This place has an enticing look from the outside. As a French bakery enthusiast, I thought i would have some hot chocolate and French pastry at this place. I have had many great tasting hot chocolate all over NYC and this place does not have a good hot chocolate. It tasted from a pack of Swiss mocha. Pican twist was good tho! They have about 6 small tables and the space is kinda tight but feels intimate. I love their decor. I would check this place again to try other pastries. Happy eating! ♥️

On a neighborhood friend’s recommendation, we ordered a Buche de Noel from Marquet for Christmas Eve, which was fabulous. It was decorated with lots of fun quirky Christmas figures and delicious (a mocha and chocolate theme, really wonderful balance between the depth of flavor and the lightness of the cake). Also the people in the shop are lovely. Will return.

My 18 year old daughter and I went to Marquet and the pastries we got are excellent! However, we were both very very disappointed in the attitude of one of the women working there. She was unfriendly and acted as if we were bothering her; terrible customer service today. If the pastries weren't so delicious, I would cross Marquet off my list of go to patisseries.

I go to this place a lot because it's close to where I live. It's nice, but an older white lady who appears to be the owner for some reason is always short and rude to me. And I have had NO interaction with her other than paying for my coffee and leaving. Sometimes I just want to ask her what the matter is, but I feel like I'm going to get yelled at...

Good drip from La Colombe. We liked the pear and almond tart, the cupcake was a bit too solid. The baked stuffs look nice and taste good, but didn't seem same day fresh, the crusts were hard.

The staff is awesome. We love their character-shapes cookies. Stopping by the bakery before early Saturday soccer has become a tradition. The interior is very small and there are few seatings but it has tons of charm.

I love this sweet little spot for the many delicious and special pastries they make. The generously sized APRICOT JAM COOKIE for $1.50 does not disappoint. Plus the biggest lemon bars I’ve ever seen, bring someone to share with!

Was looking forward to some black and white cookies and buying Halloween cookies for my kids. In this day and age, you should accept more than just cash and AMEX. Only ever had the cookies and they’re good but very frustrating to have to walk out without them.
