Great spot! The cold brew was solid and there were a ton of gems to choose from. I love that this is a used record store rather than only selling brand new records. You’ll find some great stuff that you didn’t know you needed for your collection! I picked up some sealed records for a cheaper price than discogs had listed. The dollar bins also had some older records that I’d say were in VG condition.

Great quality coffee with courteous service and friendly staff always. Feels like a place, everyone is welcome and to chill. Dogs are welcome too greeting with a treat. Charming outdoor setup with social distancing compliance during reopening. I have also bought the beautifully made bag by one of the staff (see photos). 10% off any record purchasing if you bring the bag along to carry the records.

Great coffee. It's hit or miss when they open but by 8:30 AM they are generally open.

Definitely among the coolest coffeehouses I’ve experienced in Brooklyn. A crackling phonograph Lightening Hopkins blues record entranced me while I sipped a New Orleans iced almond milk latte with simple syrup. Music fanatics who have a flare for the eclectic and coffee make your way to Black Gold and peruse through generations of music on vinyl from all genres.

Tiny record/coffee shop. Cold brew was full flavored and delicious, eclectic collection of vinyl mostly lost on my tastes. Small amount of metal to choose from but some interesting finds. Only regret not picking up a comedy option Ratt album.

Great coffee that you can enjoy while browsing a great selection of records! Staff were very friendly and helpful as well. This is a great spot to pop in for a good cup of coffee and to stick around to browse if you have the time

Jeff, one of the co-owners, is a great man of the neighborhood. The place has a pretty small collection, but both owners are great appraisers and will give you a fair deal for the records you may be trying to offload from your collection. That being said, it's definitely always worth it to stop by and scan the new arrivals section. The coffeeshop is a plus, and the employees are all super chill, welcoming folks.
