I come here for all my flowers --- always!! The selection is outstanding, affordable, and high quality. The attendant (usually the same person) will also combine your selections into a beautiful bouquet with paper and ribbon if you ask (and I always tip for this service). I am loyal to Superior Late Night Deli and I wish they had a t-shirt I could buy!!!

Hands down my favorite bodega on Cortelyou's main strip. The sandwiches always deliver and the service is always friendly. Whether it's a baconeggandchesse w/ salt pepper ketchup (#IYKYK) or a steak wrap, the ingredients are fresh and it'll hit the spot.

Fresh and pretty flowers. The person selling them is not technically affiliated with the shop so make sure to pay him and not take your bouquet inside the store. Also flowers are cash only. Staff inside the shop are super friendly and make great sandwiches. Which is welcome when it's "Latenight" and you're coming home off the Q. Just be aware of the gentleman who comes in multiple times a day and refuses to wear a mask or social distance.

They will rip you off each time!
Pay very close attention how much they charge you for what you get. They will try to charge you extra $1 for something that costs 50 cents. Extra charge for credit card (even though it’s illegal) there. Every time I come here, they always try to pull that on me.
It seems like not a big deal, because it’s only 25-50 cents, but that’s the whole point of how a sleazy business does things. Multiply 50 cents by a thousand clients like me, and it’s not 50 cents anymore, now is it?

Prices went up because of COVID and the relentless march of inflation but they have fantastic hot and cold heroes, and a good selection of snacks. I really like the Superior Special - it holds up well to reheating and the ingredient balance is just right.

I love this place so much I go there just about every day everyone who works there is really friendly and the sandwiches are great. It has a neighborhood feeling.
