Bar Sepia

When: last night With who: my friend celebrating his birthday Things I left there at 2am: hat, phone, backpack I love this place. Low lights, low music, awesome locals, great bartenders. Last night, my friend wanted a low-key bar to celebrate his birthday and this is where we decided to start. And end. We stayed for many hours, getting to know the regulars and bartenders, and taking birthday-related shots. Upon waking up this morning we realized we left many things there. While we purchased Gatorade's at the deli next door, the owner of the deli mentioned that Bar Sepia may not be open for a while, but he had the owners phone number and suggested we text her. Oddly enough, we did. The owner responded immediately and said she'd be right over. Soon enough, she came by and opened up to reveal many of our belongings! What a great community and bar. This bar is everything. It's cozy it's comfortable it has great music which is not too loud will you can't hear yourself think or the next person talk to you it's at the right level the bartenders are very friendly. The drinks are amazing I recommend the Moscow mule. I honestly don't go to any other bar but this one

Service was weird. Didn't enjoy one of the bartenders who was very rude. She wouldn't answer questions about the meat platter proclaiming that she was vegan and didn't really know or care about it. That wasn't very helpful at all. If you work somewhere it would behoove you to know a little about what was being served. While the food was tasty, I also felt that it was over priced for the quality.

Excellent cozy spot that makes you feel really comfortable as soon as you walk in. Well made drinks and friendly service. There's also a great backyard and for bigger events, they throw on the TV and it's a group affair. Trivia nights are on Tuesdays and they have a great slate of DJs on Saturday nights. Come through and come often.
