I’m not sure who the chef is for this place but they deserve a raise. Pulled pork nachos are amazing and the burritos are pretty big. Definitely want to try their breakfast.

Don’t let looks deceive you. This is a hidden gem in prospect heights for TexMex. Don’t come in here expecting fancy Mexican food but that doesn’t mean they aren’t great eating. There birria tacos are my favorite so far. Carnitas are great and crispy. La Gringa is also great with the perfect amount of pineapples

Don’t get me wrong, this restaurant has some great food! The carne asada fries are outstanding and one of the best dishes you can order! But I ordered a burrito with fish today and it was the worst burrito I have ever eaten. It had a horrible watery/fishy taste. The pinto beans in the burrito tasted like they came right out of a can. Everything was watery and bland in this burrito. I really want to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt and assume that I was just unlucky, because I have ordered here before and always loved it, but I do not recommend you order fish in your burritos, and I hope the restaurant will read this review and fix their fish.

I enjoyed today's visit to El Paso. I had vegetarian tacos with rice and beans. Everything was fresh and tasty. Nice portions. I look forward to returning. I forgot to take pics because I was super hungry. Lol.
