Look, the food is great, I highly recommend them but No matter how many times I call or specifically right in the order to add extra cheese they never do it. They're cheap as hell. And mind you I've ordered 14 times from them and only five times they included cheese, the last 11 x no matter how many times I call they don't include it. Today I called specifically to give me extra cheese and they said they did and look up what they consider to be extra cheese. A few snow flakes.... Horrible service

I have been ordering regularly for take-out from 2020 - 2021. It was so nice to finally come back to the actual restaurant and dine in again.
The food is great - generous portions - and the staff is always very friendly and attentive. I get the cavatelli every time - cooked with the perfect amount of chew.
Sapore Di Italia is an unpretentious and cozy spot that has always been welcoming and so nice to visit. I'm happy to see them busy again and I look forward to stopping by the restaurant more!

I really don’t understand why people are giving this place a hard time—although I notice it seems to have a lot to do with delivery. So dine in if you can. They’re absolutely delightful people, the atmosphere is charming if idiosyncratic, the menu is extensive and hits all the classics, the food is reasonably priced and prepared to a high standard, and we’ve always walked away with tons left over. Sapore is a gem, don’t let the people whining about their delivery apps put you off.

If you’re looking for real authentic Italian cuisine def do not go here! If you’re not picky about that then it’s an okay place. Ambience is nice. Food is def overpriced and not very good. The garlic bread is def not legit. They didn’t have anything that was on the menu so had to get something I didn’t want. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs but got linguini. My partner got chicken cutlet Parmesan which was good. I’m never going back here and still on the search for real Italian food in this area.

Amazing dining experience. We came last night during extremely bad weather and we were only two guests in the restaurant all the time. We shared calamari as a starter and ordered Chicken Alla Sapore and Skirt steak as main course. Everything was tasty. Manhattan quality with neighborhood prices. Server was very friendly, no attitude. This place exceeded our expectations and we will be back for sure.

I had the best service there. Hands down. My server/ Bartender Mercedes treated me like a queen. She is very nice, sweet and knowledgeable. I will come back to see her. She's an angel. Oh sorry I forgot to mention the food lol. The mixed seafood pasta and Mercedes margaritas are delicious 😋
