Sally's West Indian Restaurant

This is absolutely disrespectful! This is a LARGE oxtail dinner??????? This is the SECOND time they have done this at this location. So I'm guessing if I ordered a small I would get two pieces of oxtail instead of the four with the large. Management, please rectify this issue. I don't care how good the food may be, there's always BETTER ! & I will take my business there.

I love the food...but, I brought my 17 month old son with us and there was no changing tables in anyone of the restrooms...deeply disappointed...!! the hour and a half we were there we saw our waiter about twice he didn't tell us is name and the things we ask for we didn't get. We didn't understand why he didn't come back..They were practically empty with about 7 are 8 waiters walking around. Then when we finally saw him he was cleaning a table next to us with a bad smelling chemical.

The service was very slow. We sat for 2 hours and all that was served to us was water and salad. We sat for 1 hour asking for some water. I ended up taking my food to go. The food was good but I would not go back because of the wait. I ask to speak to the Manger and she never came out. That right made me feel like my business didn't matter. That's not how u deal with your customers.

My third and last time. I tried to give them a chance but no more. I went with my sister and mother and the wait time between service was horrendous. We all ordered curry goat. We all got a dish with 90% gravy, big chunks of potatoes and bones. I am yet to taste a piece of meat. The plantains were thick globs sliced way too thick. I don't know which was worse the service or the food.

Went there yesterday for dinner after going there on Friday for a take out order, food was absolutely delicious. So I was raving to family about it and took them in Sunday to get a taste of what I had experienced. To my dismay the service was horrendous. It wasn't even busy and we waited so long to get noticed after repeatedly speaking to the managers and servers. We got chickens wings very good btw and then chicken soup approximately 15 mins later. It was only 3 of us and then the jerk chicken, curry goat and fried chicken we ordered never left the kitchen. We waited and then some. Spoke to the manager who didn't think it was his business to see what was happening till after my second discussion with him. We noticed people who came after us were served and when I addressed this with him he stated it depends on what you order and I told him it was all basic things. Ms Sally something really needs to be done on a busy day mayb I could understand. Your staff needs schooling. Maybe the fact that the place was so empty is a testament to the poor quality of service. I was so disappointed and embarrassed at the same time. Take out is definitely the way to go at this place. We ended up going to Footprints with amazing service as busy as they were.

The restaurant is clean and I liked the relaxed atmosphere. What I did not appreciate is the waitress who served. She was polite but came to our table seldomly. My meal took 30mins to arrive. The food isn't that good. My dessert (red velvet cake) was delicious! All in all, it wasn't a bad experience.
