This was the special find on the trip. The birria (mula y consumme) was outstanding. I normally have a beer with but in this case the horchata was the perfect sweet compliment to the spice of the meal. The sheds are getting too hot for the summer, but that is a common issue everywhere. That would normally ding a point but the food was so good it rated a spill over star

Authentic, friendly, and lovely little Mexican spot. The staff is super friendly and helpful in ordering but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. If the weather is nice, try and get a spot on their back patio. Highly recommend starting off the meal with the queso fundito with the roasted peppers that comes out on a hot skillet. Get extra tortillas!

Hidden gem in Prospect Heights! True Mexican food and perfectly seasoned. They say we eat first with our eyes and I must say it tastes as delicious as it looks. The meat in the Al Pastor tacos was tender, the Ensalada de Nopal has the perfect crunch and tenderest meat. The avocado ice cream is a definite must try! Their cocktails are delicious and I was told award winning, please try the Curasantera! They won my stomach and heart! Will return soon!
