Very nice place, good Pizza, needs more Hookah and fifth star would be guaranteed...

Service was polite, but a little slow (perhaps the owners are going for a laid-back South American or southern European feel?); however, the food was really good. There are a decent number of vegetarian options for a place that specializes in Latin American and Italian. I had the quinoa, which was excellent and the Portobello ravioli, which was pretty good, too.

Located just a few blocks away from McCarren Park, Cu 29 is a great place for brunch, especially if you have a large group. I went here for a birthday brunch of about 20 people and between the great service, great food, lovely back patio area and $13 unlimited mimosas until 4:30, we all had a blast. I'll definitely be returning here!

This is the best spot for boozy brunches. It's right across from McCarren Park and they have unlimited mimosas/bloody mary's/bellinis for $12.95 for up to 5 hours!! Also, they have a large menu selection with everything from pizza to the standard breakfast foods. All of the staff is helpful and extremely nice.
