I have been eating Chris’s for 5 years now and every single experience has been fantastic. The folks working here are genuinely nice good people. The food is spectacular in taste and portion. The jerk chicken is very tasted as is the rice, cabbage and plantains. Its a wholesome filling experience for the soul and stomach. I love visiting Chris’s even though its a 2 hour commute home! I recently have been buying their jerk chicken pastry and it too is succulent, juicy and delicious. Thank you to the wonderful folks here who make every visit so worth the 2 hour commute back home 🥰💜

A definite for Caribbean cuisine in crown heights for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or midnight

Chris Caribbean Restaurant. I took my granddaughter here after visiting the Brooklyn Children's Museum. The Mac and Cheese is DELICIOUS! The establishment is small but well kept and clean; the staff were very polite. I will visit again in the future. If you're looking for good Caribbean food, visit Chris Restaurant located at 613 Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn NY. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures.

I’ve tried the oxtail, goat curry and jerk chicken and they’re all amazing. Reasonably priced too

We found the food here to be delicious and reasonably priced. I ordered oxtail, fried chicken and curried goat, each with rice and peas and plantains. Large portions. The oxtail and the goat in particular, were fantastic.
Update: I've removed a star because we ordered from them a second time and the food was nowhere near as good. I'm not sure what happened.

Idk what these other reviews are saying. The jerk chicken was bomb and the curry goat was good too. Also cant beat the prices. I do not cook that much, this place is about to become part of my weekly diet.

Oxtail is amazing, and costs $2-3 more than nearby competitors but is a WAY better deal for quantity, quality and flavor, sweetness of gravy. The meal includes rice and peas plus cabbage and a side like plantain. Also worth it for consistently quick and friendly service which I don't receive at other places in the area. Jerk chicken was very tender with plenty of heat and flavor. Patties are ok but tasted microwaved. Coconut cake was amazing, even though prepackaged from third party vendor. As echoed by many other Yelpers, the rice is dry, undercooked and bland. Wish it were up to par with the other items.

We order from here about once a week. My fave is the goat roti and occasionally I go for something a little richer like the oxtail plate! Great portions and always super flavorful.
