Huevos rancheros are outstanding, Rice and beans fresh and fluffy. Chicken mole A +.
Stopped in for lunch, great food and service...all fresh. Highly recommend the pineapple marinaded pork platter (al pastor)
Tacos burritos and tamales are all excellent but my favorite thing might be the Mexican omelette breakfast torta. $7.50 and that picture is only half the sandwich.
This place rocks. Food is great, people are really nice, and prices are very reasonable. Also the backyard is lovely. Not sure why people would go anywhere else downtown
Literally the best spot in this neighborhood and has been for 20 years. Don’t waste your time at chipotle on court st, come here and support a great family business that’s a Brooklyn original.
The service is great, the food is amazing, authentic and always quick. I always get a burrito and it’s a great deal. Perfect generous portion, and the meat beans and rice are hot and flavorful.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and I’m so glad that they’ve managed to stick around. Seriously one of the only gems left since this neighborhood has been consistently stripped and gentrified. Lots of love for this place.
A hidden gem that I'm happy not many people know about. This place makes some really good tacos. The mole taco is one of my favorites. It's chicken with mole on top but so goooooood. You can get any meat with mole.
They have a really nice backyard that's perfect for groups.
If you cant handle spicy then ask them to give the pique on the side.
The name nails it. The burritos are fresh and delicious and there's a short wait time. I've had the chicken and California breakfast burrito on two different occasions.
They had plenty of people waiting and orders coming in and got our eat-in order (backdoor for a nice day) out in short order.
Fresh hot sauce options and generous portions. See you soon!
Many vegetarian options including nopal (cactus), nice backyard.
Fast, affordable, delicious. Of my three tacos, Carnitas was the highlight. Next time I'll try a burrito or torta. Great neighborhood spot with friendly, family service.
Prices have risen and quality had dropped a little in this unassuming bodega in recent years but still some of the most authentic Mexican food you can get in Brooklyn.
The backyard space is really large and the food is wonderful and affordable. The portion sizes are fairly large
