I have yet to find something I don't like. My Dad loves the blueberry cake, best he's ever had he said. At 94 he's had plenty!! Happy to have them in Glendale. Such a wonderful addition to the community and they are always giving back. Thank you.

Northside Bakery is a great source for fresh Polish food and baked goods! They have helped me out with ordering food for NYU Polish Club; the owners Teresa and Richard and store employees are very helpful. In addition, the food is great (from the pierogies to the salads and especially the delicious Polish donuts filled with Rose jam). Will continue to order food from Northside for sure.

cozy and clean place. They offer a large selection of bread and pastries. You can also buy a traditional Polish dinner. Friendly and fast service. They also have coffee and you can eat on site. I recommend!!!

This is my new favorite bakery!!! The baked goods were delicious and I was introduced to traditional Polish food which was amazing! Prices are great and the portions were big!

Walked in and immediately greeted with a smile. I was recently in Warsaw and walked in and immediately recognized it as a polish bakery - cute! I ordered a paczki - stuffed donut and didn’t think it was very special but the prices and options for baked goods makes this place a note worthy stop. They also have European packaged goods and a sandwich/ lunch counter.

Will be back! This food tastes like home… I feel like a nonna or a mom cooks everything and drops it off to the store haha. Whoever is cooking definitely is putting care in their dishes. Everything I got was packed with complementing flavors. Their pastries are beautiful and delicious but you have to try their hot foods!

AMAZING! Lunch buffet $9/lb. The polish food is SO GOOD. The pierogies were pillowy and al dente, the stews so good and hearty for a rainy fall day. Fridays are extra bountiful

This bakery is amazing! Pastries are so tasty! Their blueberry cheese danish (pictured) is my favorite. They’ve got breads, imported goods and coffee too. Great spot to check out!

Embarking on a gastronomic journey to Northside Bakery in Brooklyn's Greenpoint, I am reminded of the richness of Polish cuisine and the comfort of artisanal bread. Their Nassau Ave and N8 Street locations are sanctuaries for bread lovers, where the aroma of freshly baked European loaves lingers like a warm embrace. The shelves teem with a cornucopia of bread that sings of tradition and quality. Each visit promises more than just sustenance; it's a cultural experience. The bakery's homemade soups and daily hot specials are not just meals but a revelation of flavors at reasonable prices. The service, reminiscent of an old-world charm, is brisk and no-nonsense, ensuring that every moment is dedicated to the enjoyment of fine food. Their pastry selection is a testament to their culinary prowess, where each cabbage roll, potato latke, and pastry, especially those adorned with powdered sugar, is a crafted masterpiece. It's an authentic Polish encounter wrapped in the hustle of New York life. The fusion of local tastes from Poland with a twist of American preference results in a delightful confluence that tantalizes the palate. As a patron of Northside Bakery, I revel in the authenticity and the effortless blend of two worlds. It's not just a place to eat; it's a venue where every bite tells a story, where every visit becomes a treasured memory. This bakery isn't merely a stop on my itinerary; it has become a cornerstone of my culinary experiences in the city.

My go-to for a big, crusty bread. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I haven't tried any of their soups, but I will when the temp drops!

They supply local stores like Westside, but go to the source for fresh from the oven, sliced to order if you like, delicious old-world bread with 20th-century prices. Also try the European pastries. A Polish treasure.
