Really enjoyed visiting here. The large platter with the rice wraps was excellent, and we also tried all of their home made sodas which were delicious. Good service and fun atmosphere. I also enjoyed the pho and they had some great homemade sauces - I will say after visiting this somewhat upscale, young crowd / kind of trendy Vietnamese restaurant - though it was absolutely great - I did have a feeling of really wanting to visit a more hole in the wall kind of Vietnamese place - where usually I have found the best pho!

Delicious and affordable! We had the beef pho, roast chicken, grilled short ribs, pork and beef sausage, crispy spring rolls, papaya salad, and rice cake omelette. Everything tasted amazing and was presented beautifully. Honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on this menu.

Di an di is a modern Vietnamese restaurant that’s surprisingly a Michelin-starred spot, adding a touch of coolness to the experience. The vibe here elevates Vietnamese cuisine, so expect a higher price point compared to your typical mom-and-pop Vietnamese joint. Onto the food: we ordered a variety, from Phở Bò Hà Nội and Phở Chay to Phở Gà and Cơm Xường, among others. The standout? Definitely the Phở Chay, which featured a uniquely smoky aroma and amazing flavor. A quick heads-up—reservations are a must here, as it’s a popular spot. Sure, you can try walking in, but be prepared for a wait. Overall, Di an di offers an unparalleled dining experience its a great place to have a good time, although is a bit pricy.

The place is nice and clean. The people are very friendly; we didn't have a reservation, but they found space for us. The service was very good and quick. After 5-6 PM, they don't sell sandwiches. As an appetizer, we ordered spring rolls that came out very quickly and were delicious. For the main course, we ordered the pork and chicken Do Nurong, and we loved it. An excellent place.

Highly recommend that you check out this spot. The food is delicious, the interior decor is very nice and drinks are also good. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time to avoid waiting, it does get very busy specially on weekends.

Best pho in nyc. Great Vietnamese dishes in Greenpoint, in a light flooded dining room with plenty of plants.

On my last trip to NYC, I spent an afternoon walking around Williamsburg and Greenpoint. After admiring the city views from a nearby park, I came for lunch at Di An Di to try their Hanoi-style Pho. The interior was beautiful and had a really great vibe to it. My server was really nice and made sure to inquire about allergies upon ordering. What I got: - Phở Thìn Hà Nôi (Wok-seared brisket, egg yolk scallions, Thai chili) Final Thoughts: A good bowl of pho that was rich and savory, even more so due to the addition of an egg yolk. The Thai chili gave the broth a nice kick and the beef had great flavor to it. However, for the price (22 USD/ 28 CAD), I would have expected the portion to have been larger and the beef more tender. I'd return to treat myself but at that price point, I can't justify this being my go-to pho spot.

Beautiful indoor space with greenery everywhere. They have an amazing drink selection. A great way to try different Vietnamese dishes (not totally authentic) but still delicious. Updated: Updated for new menu favorite. Tried out their new menu drinks -> their lead drink is the perfect combo of sweet and refreshing.

We enjoyed our time here as it was clean, well ventilated, and staff were very nice. The food was good, but it didn’t taste like authentic Vietnamese food, so do not recommend if that’s what you’re looking for. If up for a fusion experience, would recommend! My husband normally doesn’t like Vietnamese food but this altered version was perfect for him. The vegan/vegetarian options were great and makes it a great spot for those with dietary preferences.

Upscale interior, delicious vegetarian choices and great service. We ordered the fried eggplant, tofu bahn mi, and their special - a Chinese watercress. My girlfriend lost a $100 bill and the staff was super helpful to get it back.
