I go to this place at least once a week. The women behind the counter are so nice. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are so reasonable! I usually get the stewed or jerk chicken, rice and peas, and plantains. They also fish / beans for people who don't eat meat. They have some staples and also have a rotating selection of other dishes. Sometimes I'll get their whole rotisserie chicken that lasts me a few meals. This place never misses!

Staple in the community! Fantastic Dominican style cuisine, tons of options. As a Latina, I know great Spanish food! I’ve been coming here for years! The owner is always present and friendly. They provide a vibrant authentic Latin atmosphere, which makes it feel like home. Most importantly, food is always fresh!

As a Latino whenever Im in NYC and I’m craving for my rice & beans, plantains, mofongo and stewed chicken I come to this place.
This is like home away from home type of food.

The food here is MAD GOOD. I don’t know what any of the negative reviews are talking about. They always give a hearty portion and the prices are amazing. The service is always fast and polite. I love eating here. The PERNIL is my favorite dish.

They have got Dominican dishes, rotisserie chickrn, beef stew, rice n beans etc. The food is ok. The service is so so, nobody is going to understand you, dont expect a lot, just point at something and hopefully you'll get it.
The last few times I went there they got my orders wrong, I asked for well done chicken, I got the most under cooked piece. I have asked for beef gravy, I have gotten chicken. Good people, they mean well, they just dont understand you.

Great employees, they are super nice and helpful with preparing dishes. Sometimes they can take a little longer depending on what you want, but they do their best to keep it speedy. Paying with cash saves you a little but they accept credit/debit and Apple Pay too. Pernil and chicken from here is always great. ATM inside if needed.
