Awesome food. This restaurant has been around for over 20 years..because of it's great flavors this Dominican/puerto rican restaurant has been the favorite of so many! The chicken any way you get it is the best you will get in all of new York! The arroz con guandules, sweet plaintain, steaks, the juicy pernil or tostones def rock the house!!! You can't help but come back!!
First of all, the customer service is top tier. We were greeted with smiles and wonderful conversation. The ambiance was awesome and everything was so organized and clean. Now about the food, the chicken noodle soup was out of this world. The salmon was perfectly cook and the sauces were amazing. The presentation was wonderful. It was a really good experience. We felt fancy and at home at the same damn time.
I order from this place about two, maybe three times monthly. Their breakfast time special, the mangu with pickled onions plus all the fixings, eggs over easy, fried cheese, longanisa or fried salami are my favorite meal for the day. This strong breakfast meal can hold you off till an early dinner. I almost always skip lunch after this.
The dinner time family special they offer are very good for the price and they offer a good size amount of food as well, plus they give you a salad and free two liter soda. Their single dinner order are just as good with the price and again, you get a lot of food.
The food is so good, tasteful, appetizing, and spectacular. The service was superb. They really take care of their customers.
Was looking for a good spot to get mussels after 11 which is pretty difficult came upon this spot on yelp and tried it out the mussels were great didn’t even stop to take a picture sorry , the ambience is Kool and rich in a Caribbean kind of way like it’s on an island tropical themed environment and Spanish music playing a lil loud but it’s Kool I can hear my lady from across the table I definitely will return to this spot

This place has great portions and food. Only thing is when they are busy their service is slow but other than that, I love the food here.

Large portions, and very good food. Service was fine, and the ambience was pleasant.
Tried a small of black beans and rice & potato cocido, for 4$, to go, very good and the portion isn't even small.
Elias and the crew always rock. Keep up the good work.
