I treated my boyfriend for his birthday. He is half Panamanian and I must say, it reminded him of being back home. We enjoyed the food he hasn't had since he was a teen and the food was amazing! Great service as well!
Every year, when I visit New York, from Michigan. My cousins and I ALWAYS visit Kelso Restaurant for lunch or dinner and I always purchase a dozen of Carimanolas to bring back to Michigan. The best part about being Panamanian is the culture and food!

Incredible experience at this very quaint spot. We were visiting from Toronto and walking past and decided to give it a try. We are glad we did. The service was amazing, including the chief coming over to check on our meal.

Small Panamanian restaurant in Brooklyn. Food was traditional panamian. With some wrzt Indian spices thrown in. Place was welcoming. Unfortunately, its going out of business October 30, 2017 due to high rent.
The food is simple, made fresh and delicious. And the portions are good. All at a decent price. I'd love to visit again.
