This is one of the last Malaysian restaurants in the area after Redang Island. The management had changed hands a bit and the food is no longer as good as when Nyonya used to be here, unfortunately. It's still a decent place to get something to scratch that itch for Malaysian food, sort of. I've come with family often since when it was still Nyonya and I fondly remember seeing the roti being freshly tossed. That is no longer a sight here. The roti and curry are still a solid combo, if only smaller than it used to be. Satay is also a safe bet, but beef might be chewy. Chicken is better. Hainan chicken with oil rice is also a safe bet. We had an egg dish (hwat dan huo) that didn't taste very fresh and no one touched it. Service is pretty decent. They only take cash here, so be aware.

Most of the negative reviews on google says that this is bad for Chinese or Thai food, but that's because this is a MALAYSIAN restaurant. "Langkawi" is literally an island in Malaysia. We ordered delivery and the food was great. Especially the Hainan Chicken Rice, Chicken Satay, and Prawn Mee.

I love this restaurant. You can ask if they can do vegetarian menus for you and they have plenty options for you!
