Sunny John Pizzeria

I think they truly have the best Caesar salad slice around the neighborhood and possibly all of the city. Not many places have it and those that do are not doing it right. Here, the chicken always tastes seasoned and not just like chicken. They should put it in a wrap but a tortilla wrap that’s toasted and Not the regular Bland wraps that all places use

This pizzeria was our go to when we were kids. They were in the location across the street next to what once was sunny dale. Everyday after school my friends and I would go to sunny johns grab a slice and a coke for 1.25, then get quarter drinks and chips next door and headed to Utica park to play hours of handball. Amazing memories. 💕 Unfortunately yesterday was the next time I ate in well over 20 yrs. It was just as good, if not better than I remembered. I love that they have some of the same celebrity photos hanging up from the old place. I am happy for them getting a bigger space and it is well decorated. Food was delicious and atmosphere was quiet and clean. It saddens me that I don't live closer to frequent this place more often.

What an amazing small/big business they have here!!!!! I flew in from Chicago at 1115am, ride to the pizza place was 40 minutes but I didn’t mind because it’s 5min away from my Airbnb! Welp, the owner was really nice and the staff was really fast and effective. So nice that they allowed me to wait in their establishment till my Airbnb was available at 3! Did I tell you the pizza 🍕 was REALLY GOOD! Light and really thin! Loved 🥰 it. So it’s 1:47p and my Airbnb is ready!!!!! Let me order this LARGE CHEESE!!!!!! I AM EXHAUSTED but loving the weather here!!!!!

Been coming here since they had the location across the street. Very good food. I usually get a white slice and a beef patty with mozzarella and pepperoni. Not a huge fan of their other offerings. Also, it’s rare to find people with a good attitude working behind a counter in Brooklyn, so it’s a pleasant experience overall.
