I was there at my Georgian friend's wedding dinner last year. It was not a regular day and I cannot say anything about service (however it was good for the wedding event) but the food was really good. It was the most authentic taste I’ve tried in NYC. I’ve tasted a lot of variety of food and liked all of them.

This time this was a takeout order from this restaurant. After placing an order, it was ready in about 35 minutes. Baked branzino was freshly cooked and tasted really good. Pork shish kebab was just as good. I was very happy, and can definitely recommend this place.

The most delicious Georgian food not only in Brooklyn, but between all Georgian restaurants in USA. Excellent service! Very friendly environment! And it’s manager Giorgi is the best!

Good selection of Georgian cuisine and it is tasty. If you are not from Georgia country of not familiar with that food it is at some point difficult to choose a dish you want to eat. At Saturday evening the restaurant is really busy and after 7 PM they have life Georgian music.

Great menu selection with reasonable prices, delicious Georgian food, attentive service (seems family operated). The waiters understood minimal English but were friendly, patient, and helpful. The manager understands/speaks English well. BYOWine. Family oriented but fancier than a diner, expect kids. Will enjoy again. Be ready for loud music. Pay cash to save a few $ (they use Square which adds a credit card processing fee). They also add a server fee, but it's maybe 10% or less. *give them more tip if they give you good service*. Busy for dinner, mostly community from Georgia (the country, not the state). Festive, loud, friendly atmosphere. Cultural kareoke & dancing after dinner.

Great staff, authentic cuisine, and great atmosphere. Cash ONLY. Khachapuri (cheese bread) was delicious and exactly as I expected. Salad made a great side, it was fresh, and light.

Absolutely amazing staff who cares and makes sure every one of your dining needs are met. The food is exquisite and a perfect balance of everything you need in any Georgian dish. The music lifts your spirits and makes you want to get up from your seat and dance all night long. Couldn’t be more pleased :)

If you want good Georgian food and a true Georgian experience, definitely give Pirosmani a shot! They were doing some renovation when we got there, but the staff was courteous and attentive... A good mix of available, but giving us enough breathing room to chat, peruse the many, many photos of old Georgian actors and legends and paintings by Pirosmani, and really enjoy the menu. The khinkali (we had lamb and beef) is fantastic, the khachapuri is delish (all their varieties are great, but the Adjaruli really stood out to the group... Even to the non-Georgians! Don't miss it!) The eggplant will make you feel as though you died and went to heaven. The spinach and beet salads were both amazing... try some with the Georgian bread. Don't like eggplant, spinach or beets? Try it anyway. You'll love it! If you don't enjoy garlic, however, there may be a slight problem. Bring mints. 😉 The shish kebabs were good, though the beef was a tad on the dry side. Comes with a delicious sauce, and the fries are spectacular, though, so no biggie. During weekends, they have live music, and are more crowded, but if you want to slowly eat your way through and savour the Georgian cuisine, try and go on a weekday. Giorgi was our very gracious server.
TL;DR: Everything is delicious. Come hungry. I will definitely be going back!

Get ready for an eating experience unlike anything you've had before. This isn't even Russian food, it's Georgian food. They are known for their delicious breads. We had one that was filled with an egg, butter, and cheese. For main courses we had buttered chicken and gizzards. Their cold borscht soup was good. Service was slow but the restaurant is comfortable. It's the type of place where families go to have large parties and drink lots of vodka. You could walk out of that place drunk.
