The food at this establishment is so amazing. Yesterday I had the opportunity to stop in and get a bite to eat for the very first time . I ordered the shrimp tempura , chance chicken and the chance fried rice. My date ordered the spare rib and the Thai fried rice . After eating my meal I was truly impressed with the shrimp tempura because it was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Surprisingly the shrimp was accompanied by a lemon zested salad that was the absolutely perfect balance. Next came the chance chicken which had a gingery taste accompanied by an orange zest. Once again the chicken was a great portion and was served with fresh mixed vegetables. Lastly came the chance fried rice which wasn’t amazing in my opinion but it wasn’t horrible. My date said that his spare ribs were amazing and he would definitely return to the restaurant again for this specific dish. His Thai fried rice was way better than my chance fried rice and I ended up asking him to eat his rice while he ate mine . I know you must be wondering what did they have to drink . Well I decided on the mango mojito and I must say compliments to the bartender because it was amazing . It was refreshing with a slight buzz but I was satisfied with my meal . Great food , great ambiance and great price!

A great neighborhood bar/restaurant offering happy hour specials every day of the week; my favorites are the jumbo shrimp shumai and wings. The menu offers various delicious rice and noodle dishes, and the sushi is always fresh. The decor is simple but the ambiance is warm and inviting. Chance seems to attracts many repeat customers, like myself, because you can't beat the prices, the great food, or the friendly staff. Stop by if you're in the neighborhood; ask for Jimmy and tell him Alyce sent you.

Love this place. It’s one of the few restaurants on Smith that it’s still standing. Great food and drinks. The atmosphere is always friendly. Most of the customers there are regulars whether from around the block or from other places like Staten Island! My faves are the dim sums and the pecking duck!

Our families favorite! Try the steamed vegetable dumplings, best I've ever had! The noodles are made fresh! The soups are delicious, I usually get the duck! This place is very affordable and you will get enough to eat!

The shrimp shumai had excellent wrappers (thin and tasty) and a nice texture, but weren't very flavorful. The spicy miso baked sea bass was however delicious, and cooked to perfect tenderness. The Korean ribs were too greasy in my opinion. Service was great and the window seating is nice.

For the most part we enjoyed our meals(duck, two flavor shrimp, garlic broccoli, orange chicken and short ribs) and drinks. The shorts ribs were dry, asked for extra sauce. The attitude completely changed. Was told it would be an additional $2-3 for additional sauce. After discussing the dryness of the ribs and requesting another dish (with a 50% charge for the ribs), they were informed that we are staying at hotel that recommend this restaurant. The waitress decided to give us more sauce without a charge. There was no need for this drama!

Very good food, tasty, big variety, and well priced. Especially the dimsum are amazing. The drinks are very affordable and a bit too strong for me. Servers are very casual, friendly and attending.
