Awesome pizza. Nice guy named Andrew runs the place too. I used to go to Caruso’s all the time when I was a kid - happy they got to retire - and glad Andrew’s taken over the shop!

First time trying Detroit style and it did not disappoint. The fresh basil really set it off. Real old school meets new school feel inside. I’ll certainly be back!

I was excited to try this new place so my boyfriend and I did take out on a rainy night and were so impressed. We ordered the Lucia and the flavors were so well balanced and complementary. The initial price tag kinda shocked me but well worth it, especially if splitting a pie. Exceed my expectations- I’ll be a repeat customer for sure!

There is some stellar pizza joints in this part of Brooklyn and La Rose joined the race without missing a step. The flavor, style, and high quality ingredients make this pizza worthy of the price. I’m a 5 minute walk away and it has been one of the better spots to open in the neighborhood.

This is some of the best tasting Detroit-style pizza I have ever tried! The Jane was fantastic, *chef’s kiss*! The tomato sauce tasted fresh and not too salty. Texture of the cheese melts in your mouth - not rubbery at all. And the air pockets in that crust!? Perfection! Also, the owner was nice to let us sample their La Rose lemonade, which is sweetened with maple - very nice. We will definitely be going again and telling our friends about it.

It’s not often that you stumble upon a new school Pizza Shop that wows you. But La Rose pizza is one of those spots. My bet is in two years time will be considered a New York pizza must have pizza and in ten an establishment. This Detroit style pie offers unique toppings, quality ingredients, and delivers a flavor punch that immediately leaves you wanting more. It’s always sad to lose classic pizza establishments but when a new one moves in and fills its shoes what such a pleasure to experience. We stopped in for a slice this afternoon and within a few hours we called in for a whole pie. I can’t recommend the spot enough

No junkies at all. I tired their Lucia and it is so delicious. Feel energized when you see someone like this pizzeria so much into making good craft. Everything is so fresh. Seatings are neat and the service is superb! I highly recommend everyone!

The pizza is delicious, and I found it hard to stop eating. It's finished in front of your eyes, so there's a wait, but it's totally worth it. There isn't more than a crammed bar in terms of seating. The staff was very friendly.
